Meet The Director

Program Director – Lindsay Gelinas

I have been working in the childhood field for the better part of 30 years. I have worked in homes to large childcare centers. I have held roles from mom, to assistant, to teacher, and director. I have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood and Business. I am the wife of Nelson Gelinas, and we have been married for almost two decades. I am the mom of four of my favorite humans. We are a very busy family involved in many activities including church, sports, summer camps, and our community. One of our most cherished family activities is vacationing at our cabin at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. In my free time, you will find me enjoying the outdoors. I like to run, hike, ride horses, read, sit by a campfire, and enjoy the beautiful scenery that God has created. I am most at peace when I can see and hear water. 

This is what you can expect from me. I will always put the children’s and staff’s health and safety first. It will be my number one priority! I will work with you to make this an extension of your child’s family and home. My door is always open, I am ready to listen, and then do what is needed. I want to have a relationship with you! I will be humble, I will ask for help, apologize when I am wrong, and work to do better! I will address concerns and issues promptly with compassion and empathy. I will be there and show up to make Central Day Care Center great!
